Who We Are
Habitat for Humanity of Montezuma County is an authorized affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. We serve all areas of Montezuma County.
What We Do
Habitat for Humanity of Montezuma County builds homes for qualified lower income families using local suppliers and contractors, volunteers, students in construction trades programs, and the “sweat equity” work of the future homeowners. We also repair existing homes for owners who are disabled, elderly and veterans; and rehabilitate some housing by purchasing the property, bringing the homes up to code and safety standards, including ADA, and sell those homes.
We always welcome volunteers to help with the various construction projects, working at the ReStore and occasional special events such as booths at cunty fairs, home and garden shows, etc.
