Who We Are
Our Mission: To provide a fun, safe place that kids can call their own, where they are inspired to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Vision: To develop generations of young people with the skills to meet life’s challenges and inspire others. The Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County opened in September of 2007. Since then, the Club has served over 2,000 members and thousands more youth through outreach and community events.
What We Do
The Boys & Girls Club provides the kids and teens of La Plata County with a fun, safe place where they are surrounded by positive role models and encouraged to Be Great! The Club offers programs and activities that encourage academic success, good character & leadership and healthy lifestyles. The Club is open when kids need us most, after school and during winter, spring and summer breaks.
