During the Horseback Social, volunteers will be positioned at the railroad crossings along Narrow Gauge Drive so the the trains do not need to sound their whistle. Volunteers will be positioned at cross streets on Narrow Gauge Drive from 6th St to 12th St. during the Horseback Social and Cowboy Parade. Volunteers will work with representatives from the DSNGRR and will monitor traffic at the railroad crossings. Volunteers must be able to stand for the length of the shift and will need to interact with the public. Volunteer t-shirts and safety vests will be provided. Volunteers should dress for the appropriate weather conditions on the morning of the event. Required to attend one training event on Saturday morning prior to event.
