Volunteer: Volunteer AdvocateRise Above Violence provides a 24/7 crisis hotline for victims of domestic violence and sexual ass ult. Volunteer advocates are trained and continually supported by Rise staff. Volunteers sign up for hotline shifts each month and provide coverage of the calls that come through; that can mean talking with someone over the phone or meeting the victim with law enforcement if they are currently in crisis.
All Volunteers are required to complete mandatory training hours before you are allowed to be on-call, and Rise staff is always available to help you.
