Who We Are

Volunteers of America is a national, nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. Our work touches the mind, body, heart — and ultimately the spirit — of those we serve, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.

What We Do

For over 30 years Volunteers of America has responded to the needs of the most vulnerable individuals and families in Southwest Colorado, serving over 800 people annually. We offer five programs in Southwest Colorado that meet the needs of women and children fleeing domestic violence, individuals and families struggling with homelessness, Veterans and their families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and seniors 62 year of age or older.
