Who We Are
Our mission: Horses and humans working together to foster healthier communities. Our vision: To offer an alternative to traditional therapeutic interventions in an experiential outdoors setting. Our Center was formed in the year 2000 to offer recreational and therapeutic horse activities to community members with special needs. It soon became apparent that our community also needed mental health and wellness support. We answered that need by introducing equine assisted psychotherapy and equine experiential learning programs to increase social-emotional wellness in those who participate in therapy with horses.
What We Do
Our organization offers equine assisted therapies to youth, families and individuals in the Four Corners region. Everything we do is connected to horses--building relationships with ourselves and with others. Programs include: experiential learning, psychotherapy, recreational programs, leadership programs and therapeutic riding.
