Teen Maze is an interactive life-size health fair for middle school youth in the region. The youth navigate through the maze of rooms on various topics such as safe teen driving, mental health, healthy lifestyles, positive choices, sexual health and parenting, career choices, self-esteem, acceptance of diversity and other positive activities. The Maze is designed to be informative, nonjudgmental, and interactive while showcasing possible outcomes of risky versus healthy behaviors. The youth exit the Maze through a debriefing room meant to help them process the experience and give them a positive outlook for their futures.
Approximately 30 organizations and countless volunteers have worked together to provide youth in the Four Corners area an experience they will remember as they go through adolescence and find themselves confronted with choices that could affect their entire lives.
