This year, Durango BID is benefiting Manna during their annual Singing with Santa event. They will be encouraging attendees to bring donation items to the event, which will all be donated to Manna. Our ask list consists of: Can of food, Hand warmers, Socks, Gloves, Beanies, Coats (used), Blankets (used).
In return, we are offering to help them with some volunteer recruitment. We are seeking 15 volunteers and we'd love if you'd come join us in some holiday cheer.
All of these volunteer opportunities should be a good time! There will be a group handing out glow sticks before caroling, a group handing out hot cocoa and cookies to attendees, and 2 people facilitating photos with Santa. If you'd like to make it a family event, spouses, children, and grandchildren are all welcome to join in on the volunteering as well, please just let us know.
